Dr Rolland will be focusing not limited to The Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice (CCPCJ) which is the central body within the United Nations system providing policy guidance on crime prevention and criminal justice. The Commission formulates international policies and recommendations on criminal justice issues, including trafficking in persons, transnational crime and aspects of terrorism prevention. Its mandated priority areas are: International action to combat national and transnational crime, including organized crime, economic crime and money laundering; Promoting the role of criminal law in protecting the environment; Crime prevention in urban areas, including juvenile crime and violence.
Dr Rolland is a trained lawyer and have passion for criminal justice, human justice as well as women empowerment and legal reform in developing countries. She holds bachelor’s and master’s degree in law. She is a proud alumnus of London Metropolitan University (London MET) She is based in London office and has widely travel with good international experience towards the development of the commission objectives and growth.
