Jason Igbinosa Igbinedion

Mr. Igbinedion will be focusing on program in relations to ECOSOC special Commission on Science and Technology for Development (CSTD) which commission was established in 1992 to advise the General Assembly and the Economic and Social Council. The commission is more on examination of science and technology and their implications for development, the advancement of understanding on science and technology policies, particularly with respect to developing countries, and the formulation of recommendations and guidelines on science and technology matters within the United Nations system. The Commission meets annually for a period of one week in Geneva. Mr. Igbinedion brings a unique blend of skills and expertise to his role. He also holds a position as a Director at Gartmore Investments Limited, a Nigerian multinational company, with interest in private equity investment, finance, and science development etc. His academic background includes a bachelor’s degree in business administration, an alumna of Igbinedion University Okada. He has several trainings and professional courses including data analysis and project management to his credit.

He has travelled globally and based in Nigeria (Abuja) office.
