Mrs Nwobiri will be focusing but not limited to the Commission for Social Development (CSocD). She will oversee the follow-up and implementation of the Copenhagen Declaration and other Programme of Action. They meet once a year in New York, usually in February. Each year since 1995, the Commission has taken up key social development themes as part of its follow-up to the outcome of the Copenhagen Summit. The work is organized in a series of two-year cycles, which include a review and a policy segment. She will alongside follow among other programs Commission on Commission on Population and Development (CPD) assists and advises ECOSOC on population issues and trends, population and development strategies, policies and programmes, and provides population assistance to developing countries.

As a member with Across Atlantic Development, Ms Phoebe is a public health expert, a team leader, oversees and manage a team of health visitors (public health professionals), as well as provide guidance, support, and direction to the team and public health policy ensuring to achieve goals and key performance indicators (KPIs). She plays a critical role in promoting and protecting the health and well-being of individuals, families, and communities, and provide advice on healthy lifestyles, nutrition, as well as vaccination and immunization programs. She has experience towards the growth of the commission. A proud alumna of Kings College University London, South Bank University, where she earned B.Sc. in Public health, University of Greenwich (PGD), and other diplomas to her credit. She is based in London office.
